About This Novel
Teachers and students of the Chinese Social History Research Center of Shanxi University have focused their attention on southern Shanxi, an area with rich history, for many years. Yongji, located in the south of Shanxi Province, is a national off-campus practical teaching base for college students jointly established by the center and the Yongji Municipal People's Government. In recent years, teachers from the Social History Research Center of Shanxi University have combined the "Introduction to Regional Social History Research" course and led students to conduct many field trips in Yongji, providing students with opportunities for off-campus practice, combining classroom knowledge with extracurricular practice, and improving their abilities in data collection, academic research, and social understanding. This book collects works completed by doctoral and master's students during fieldwork, including academic papers, survey reports, and field diaries.
