Roadside Picnic
by (russia) Arkady Strugatsky Boris Strugatsky
About This Novel
The Chernobyl nuclear meltdown was predicted 14 years in advance! Why don't aliens invade humans? "Roadside Picnic" gives you an extremely cruel answer. Aliens mysteriously visited the earth and then left, leaving behind six highly radioactive and highly polluted visit areas. For more than 30 years, those who came into contact with it either had their skin peeled off and died, or gave birth to deformed monsters. Zombies crawled out of nearby cemeteries and wandered around the world. But there are still some people who, in order to make a living, wander around the murderous visiting areas, reselling high-tech items left by aliens, and live a life of bloodshed. They are called "Stalkers". Fear of death, greed for money, resentment against fate... They gradually twisted and collapsed in the torture. However, if this catastrophe for mankind is just an unintentional roadside picnic by aliens, is it still worth all the painful struggles and all the weak hope in despair?

I didn't know what to say, they hadn't taught me how to say it. I don't know how to think, those bastards won't let me learn how to think. But if you really are omnipotent, omniscient, and omniscient, figure it out for yourself! Look at my soul, I know everything you want is there. It must be. Because I never sold my soul to anyone! It belongs entirely to me, and there is still humanity left in it! You can figure out for yourself what I want, because I know that my wish cannot be evil! Heck, I can't think of anything but his words - I hope everyone is happy and free, and I hope no one is forgotten! "

He is just a little person, so ordinary that he can't even figure out what he wants. My final wish is: I hope everyone can be happy and free. ? ? Do not deny other people's wishes, but
Reid also wants to better protect the safety of himself and Kirill. If he and Kirill visit the area alone, it would be better to have someone to help them when they are in danger.
