About This Novel
From going to Tokyo and entering the art academy, Zhang Zeduan first encountered the prosperity of Bianjing, and then was killed by a traitor. On the way to escape, he saw the suffering of the people, and gradually strengthened his artistic pursuit. Zhang Zeduan was unwilling to paint for the royal family, openly resisted the decree, and was willing to be tortured by wooden shackles without changing his original intention. Finally, he painted "Along the River During the Qingming Festival". Zhang Zeduan's pursuit of art reached a state of intoxication. With the fall of Bianjing, Zhang Zeduan was kidnapped by the Jin soldiers to Five Kingdoms City. He endured the humiliation, painted for the Jin people, and secretly completed the long scroll of "Along the River During the Qingming Festival". With the help of patriots, Zhang Zeduan escaped from the devil's cave, and finally brought "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" back to the Song Dynasty, and at the cost of his own life, he preserved this famous painting.
