Overall feeling good!
Passing mission. . . . . .
This is my first time reading a book by Natsume Soseki. A large part of Japanese articles and movies should be very quiet and seemingly still, just like summer time in the countryside, with only the sunshine and shadows outside the house, and the long chirping of cicadas. I feel that these novels by Soseki are very typical, they are like time or water flowing quietly. When I read "I Am a Cat", I didn't like it at first, but after a while, I picked it up again and read it from the beginning. Suddenly I like my master, Mi Ting, Han Yue, and Dongfeng very much. What a group of people. "I Am Cat" has the most outstanding character description in the whole book, and the characters are the most impressive. Another personal experience is that reading is really like vegetables and carrots. Everyone has their own preferences. I gave up if I read the book "I Am a Cat" halfway through. That would certainly belittle it mentally. Just like watching "Red and Black", I still can't finish reading it. I feel that the text and story are difficult to read, but it is reasonable to exist.
A must-read Japanese classic novel
I remember that some of my classmates read this book in high school.
