"Smell the Smoke" is Xin You's first short story collection, which includes 16 short stories including "Smell the Smoke", "Lie Detector", and "Scent of Books". The 16 stories are either touching with warmth, titillating with obsession, or personified with supernatural beings. Although the stories are short, they fully show ordinary beings and various situations in the world. Doctors, couriers, barbers, company employees, class reunions, blind dates... We always turn a blind eye to the things around us, and we always think that the existence that inspires inner fear is still far away from us. full of love
I discovered this book by chance. I don't know who the author is. I collected this book simply because there are very few words in the excerpt. It can help me get over my unbearable book addiction that I want to read but can't find the time. But from the first word I read, the author's words seemed to attract me like magic. I saw the greatness of my father in the protagonist's words. When he was willing to devote himself to his granddaughter and worked until midnight every day just to raise medical expenses, I had tears in my eyes. After seeing all his silent arrangements, I can no longer express my indescribable feelings. All I can say is: the love of parents is truly extraordinary. Fortunately, Liu Jiansan was able to understand his father's painstaking efforts and continue to live according to his will. Great book! I hope there is a complete version of the book Ὁ5
