Hu Qian's film "The Elephant Sitting on the Floor" won the Feature Film Award, Adapted Screenplay Award, and Audience Choice Film of the Year at the 55th Golden Horse Awards in 2018. After reading the preface, the third chapter is the beginning of the author's writing. It's a very vivid text. You can probably read this book when you have time on the weekend.
No one gave him a hope to live, so he chose to leave this cold world
The world is full of cracks
If it weren't for Hu Bo's death, I might not have read this book. As the author said, the tone of the whole book is probably an individual's disappointment in existence. I was also hit hard by the story in it. When I closed my eyes, I could see my own disappointment in myself, and the place where I was. They were gradually drying up, opening countless cracks like a bottomless abyss.
