Late Bloomer (mo Yan's First Work after Winning the Nobel Prize)
by Mo Yan
About This Novel
From "Red Sorghum" to "Late Bloomers", from the depths of history to the current reality, from the creation of the world to the myriad phenomena. It is still the Mo Yan that readers are familiar with, but it brings us a strange and surprising reading experience. This book contains 12 newly created short and medium-sized novels by Mo Yan, the Nobel Prize winner in literature. They are all "new stories" told by Mo Yan to everyone. They are still based on "people in his hometown", but with a new look - focusing on the present and incorporating observations and thoughts on emerging issues of the times. The 12 stories are compact in length, but each has its own merits. The fresh, brave, and dotted narratives create a series of characters who "change with the times". They are like people who have come out of us, running as fast as flying, from one end of the novel to the other end of the novel, from the history of red sorghum to the present of red lips and green mouths. Reading Mo Yan is always exciting. The world of his novels is three-dimensional and complete, and the final results always make us stunned.

This is my favorite book with simple rural themes, rich characters and real life!
I like the scenery of the countryside, the scenes of wheat harvesting, and the full-bodied characters. From the introduction, it's like encountering something delicious, wanting to see it, but reluctant to part with it.
I couldn't stand it after reading half of it. It has no practical significance. The ideas in the book are not good.
The author's thoughts are sour, he is greedy for fame, his self-consciousness is too strong, and every good person except himself is too sour.
life, a story
The past and the things that can't be overcome have become stories. Life is short, so it's good to seize it and record every bit of the past in the limited time. Say hello to the author.
real person
I want to be a smooth and practical person
Touching😹True. It feels like listening to the old man talking under the old locust tree at the entrance of the village after dinner
worth a look
The writing is calm and easy to read.
Upright and forthright, daring to venture and fight, down-to-earth and diligent.
You are only in your twenties. It is normal that you have not met someone you like. Later you will find that you probably will never meet someone again.
Finished reading
The story is outstanding. Rumors/being misunderstood/not being trusted are really heartbreaking. Unless you strengthen your heart to survive it, a child will choose to die to learn from it. Complex inside
My cousin was speechless when he was drunk and scolded me, acquiescing to the complexity of social communication; wolves eat people, rumors kill people, it's sad! Most readers like real storylines, but those with real facts are often unsatisfactory! ! !
