About This Novel

Nothing is lost until the dream dies - a masterpiece of feminist novels by George R. R. Martin, the author of "Game of Thrones". This book is a heroine novel created by the powerful combination of George R. R. Martin and Lisa Tuttle (winner of many awards, including the Nebula Award and the Locus Award). Created a very charming, delicate and three-dimensional image of a female leader. This book has won the Locus Award, the Readers' Choice Award for "Analogue" (Chapter 2 "One Wing"), and was nominated for the Hugo Award and the Nebula Award. "Wind Harbor" is the story of the life of Maryse, a dreamer and changemaker. In the class-solidified Fenggang society, pilots monopolize flight rights and knowledge, and islanders are imprisoned in productive labor. Maryse broke the "wing inheritance rule" through non-violent struggle, and ultimately promoted the opening of the right to fly in society and promoted social change. However, it also triggered the collapse of traditional authority and the turmoil of the reconstruction of the new order, resulting in destructive social rifts and conflicts. Maryse herself paid a huge price for this, parting ways with her former lover, and gradually growing dissatisfied with her best friends. Dealing between two mutually hostile camps, she found that no matter which choice she made or which position she took, pain was unavoidable. But she did not shy away from her responsibilities...
