King Zhao of Qin died of illness, and the old prince Ying Zhu (King Xiaowen) succeeded to the throne and died of illness a year later. A stranger succeeded to the throne (King Zhuangxiang of Qin) and appointed Lu Buwei as prime minister to implement the New Deal. King Zhuang Xiang died of illness three years after his reign, and his 13-year-old son Ying Zheng succeeded him. Lu Buwei co-regents with the Queen Mother as "Second Father"...
