About This Novel
The work "The Fingersmith" was adapted by the BBC into the famous British drama "The Fingersmith". It tells the story of Mr. Li and his niece Maud living in a large manor in the suburbs of London. Mr. Li has a surly personality, which drives Maud to organize and read aloud books in the library all day long. The poor girl has never stepped outside the manor since she was a child, and lives a life of darkness. One day, the intrusion of a stranger brought life to Maud's long-desired heart. He was Rivers who came to teach Maud how to paint. In order to ensure success, Rivers hired Soda, a member of the theft gang, and after arrangements, Sue became Maude's personal maid. With careful planning step by step, things developed in the direction expected by Rivers, but soon took a turn for the worse. It turned out that everything was not as simple as Su imagined. A big conspiracy that had been carefully brewed more than ten years ago was waiting for everyone, and a truth like a bolt from the blue was about to come out. A gothic suspense that twists and turns, a pure literature full of nineteenth-century tidbits, and a female writing filled with life experiences. The conspiracy is vast, but hope is stirring; the deception is confusing, but love is abundant.

Fate allows us to meet in troubled times, but fate allows us to fall in love in times of crisis.
After reading it, I almost wanted to write "touched" all over the screen. The story is reasonable and not delayed. The relationship between the heroines is very delicately described and can be described from multiple angles to serve the plot. Especially the restrained but uncontrollable feelings are really touching. I read the remakes of this novel, "The Lady" and "The Fingersmith Love Mystery". Although they are both very good, they are still not as stunning as the original novel.
I wonder how much the physical book costs?

The author carries forward his consistent delicate writing style and careful research, and the process of desire awakening, suppression and liberation is very touching. If Nancy found true love through the ups and downs of life, then Susan and Maud's fate has long been destined. Unlike "Licking Velvet", which is devoted to the trend of social change, this book focuses on the plot's tricks and reversals, and you will have a completely different experience when you read it for the second time.

After watching the Korean remake, I came to read the original novel. I personally feel that the novel is far more exciting than the movie.
I watched a movie made in Korea... The ending is very twisty!
Everything has two sides. Among the fugitives Susan Chengde met, there were familiar people and strangers. Some people were honest and honest people, but some people were vicious.
