About This Novel

One day, my mother died. The people attending the funeral sat across from me, shaking their heads, as if they were here to judge me. I shot a man five times on the beach. In the court, the judge was sitting upright, reporters were whispering to each other, and a dark crowd surrounded me. They really came to judge me. They seemed to exclude me when the case was being heard. None of the steps were taken without my involvement, and they decided my fate without consulting me.
