"Fear is the original sin"
I just opened this book occasionally, but I was suddenly fascinated by it. The Blue Castle is a place where relative restraint is lost, and a kind of freedom comes from the heart. In this book, I tried hard to understand every word and put myself into it. I discovered many truths. I'm still young. But the blow of failure, the pressure from my family, and my unattractive appearance once made me feel inferior to the core. When I read this book recently, I thought about it a lot. Living in tranquility is full of turbulent waves, and you will never be able to fathom its true meaning. So we fear a lot. First, we let the cruel reality become a fetter for our progress, and then we resent our own incompetence. Unwilling to surrender, but looking for thousands of reasons to surrender, and then laughing at oneself as if seeing through the world of mortals, "This is life, this is reality." This is so wrong. You don't have to please anyone, and all your suffering is just fear and greed. So, dear, live freely and do whatever you want. Let life move forward at a relaxed pace instead of hesitating with undue greed. 😍
I like it so much, it's a perfect ending. She never thought that a gloomy life would have such a beautiful ending. Love changes fate. Love changes everything. Love is the luxury of happiness.

I just started reading it recently, and I've just read Chapter 11 now. Valancy faced the fact that she was seriously ill and was about to die, but instead of showing timidity, she felt fearless. This seemed to be a disrespect for life, but it was indeed her helplessness towards her boring and irritable life. If her fear of these relatives and friends is revealed one day, she will find that these are just a test. In fact, if it is someone who does not know the Slington family at all, there will be no fear at all. The source of these fears comes from Valancy herself, because of her loneliness, because of her helplessness, because of her nothingness, these are what scare her. Even if we talk about overcoming fear, it actually means making ourselves more tolerant, but tolerance does not mean surrender. Everything depends on yourself rather than others, let alone those who cannot help. This book suddenly made me want to write something, because I felt the helplessness of the protagonist. Anyway, you can't hear what others say after death. Since you don't feel sad, just commit suicide.
