Veronica Decides to Die
About This Novel
The young girl Veronica seems to have everything: youth, beauty, boyfriend, harmonious family, and satisfying job. But she always felt that something was missing in her life, neither happiness nor misfortune. She couldn't bear this kind of life, so she committed suicide by taking medicine. When she wakes up, she's in a mental hospital with only a week to live. In her last days, she unexpectedly experienced the joy of life and her true self, and fell deeply in love with Edward, who dreamed of becoming a painter. The desire for life is burning like never before... But how to save a life that has come to an end? Crazy is normal, adventure is freedom, finding yourself and pursuing your dreams is a life worth living. Following "The Fantasy Journey of the Shepherd Boy", Paulo Coelho once again leads us to explore the true meaning of life, using poetic brushwork to preach: To live, you must be brave and different.

I always push things to the future because I think life means eternity and there will be a lot of time in the future. But as day after day and year after year passed by, I was no longer interested in many things and even gradually forgot about them. Life is like a reverse journey. I am a passer-by in every place, every time period, and every person I meet. Every passing night means one step closer to departure. And this person here and now will never meet again in this life. So I think, every day should be like a summer flower or a rainbow, and live a gorgeous, rich and bright person.
me in reality
Many people think that lunatics are abnormal, and they are indeed abnormal. But am I happier and living a more exciting life than a lunatic? I feel that my life is not as good as that of a lunatic. I live by the rules every day, care about other people's eyes and opinions, figure out the leader's thoughts, talk to others in unintentional language, and live a hypocritical and cunning life. It is really meaningless. It is better to be crazy. To live a wonderful and true life, at least follow the truest heart.
The snake is a villain in Christianity
This book made me wonder who is the crazy person? Is it those of us who surrender ourselves for the sake of ethical ethics, or are we the so-called lunatics? Will this book save more people, or create more lunatics?
Only in this way can you really have ideas, dare to think and do
How much courage does it take to dare to end one's life?
This book has mediocre data here. I came here because of one sentence: I disdain to be with others, but I am afraid of being different. Some books are worth pondering after reading them.
irritable
She understands that she has love, tenderness and protection in her life, but she lacks the one thing that turns all of them into happiness.
Produced by Paul, it must be a high-quality product
Very good book
The responsibility for the lack of meaning in life lies not with others but with oneself
