About This Novel

Nearly a hundred years ago, a batch of popular and beautifully bound "pocket books" came out one after another, which were called "little novels" series. Its contents are mostly adapted from classic novels, with simple text, lively materials, and bright and attractive covers to make people interested. It can be enjoyed by literature lovers and is also a popular reading book for school education, family education, and public education. It's a pity that it lasted for a long time, and now many of them have been lost. In order to "resurrect" this batch of excellent traditional cultural readings, a total of 96 kinds of "little novels" collected by the Shanghai Library have been collected. They are divided into six volumes according to their contents, including military, history, martial arts, legends and world affairs, covering various types, and focusing on the development level and artistic characteristics of my country's classical vernacular novels. This volume of "Dayanpai" includes fifteen traditional novels about world affairs.
