About This Novel
The novel mainly describes the growth process of the protagonist Yagyu from a rich boy in a wealthy family to a staunch revolutionary, and reproduces the historical story of Yagyu spending all his money to work on the revolution during the Anti-Japanese War and the Civil Revolutionary War. As a descendant of a wealthy family and the only descendant of the family, Yagyu did not follow his grandfather's wishes to learn and become an official and gain fame and honor his ancestors. Instead, he went in the opposite direction and became a gravedigger of the feudal class, a staunch revolutionary who devoted himself to the cause of liberation of the Chinese people. For the cause of the Party and the victory of the revolution, he repeatedly persuaded his family to sell their property, spent thousands of dollars to support the armed activities of the underground party, provided weapons and equipment and living security for the guerrillas, provided the venue and funds for the "Legion Meeting" to guide the liberation of Guangxi, and made special contributions to the cause of the Party.
