What is the meaning of life? What is a country? What is war? After reading this book three times I feel like I have new feelings. I believe there are few books in the world that can make a man in his early forties burst into tears for hours and become obsessed with that heroic and beautiful story again and again. I was thinking that if this book could be made into a TV series in its original form, so that all those who are not familiar with the history of blood and tears would have a good look at it. It would be such an awesome drama that would surpass all Western war movies, because this story not only contains blood, tears, brothers, and love, but also the indescribable friendship and the deepest love for the motherland of Chinese men!
The second time I read this book, my home is 40 kilometers away from Dagushan. I didn't expect that there is such a home where heroes rest near my home, where revolutionary martyrs sleep forever!
Excellent book
Very good book, already collected. . . . .
