About This Novel
"Green Leaves in the Scenery" is a novel written by writer Li Yiqing in ten years. It was the only one in Ningxia that was selected as a key support project by the Chinese Writers Association in 2008, and was included in the "Special Topic to Commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of New China" (ranked third). Regarding this novel, "Literary News" once commented: "Li Yi's "Green Leaves" is a novel on the theme of rural education in northwest China. The author intends to give a direct, in-depth and calm presentation of the current rural education status in western China through a comprehensive narration of a township's education. A series of educational stories and typical education cases with profound philosophical thoughts are used as the basis, and the teaching experience, emotions and life of grassroots educators are used as the latitude to construct a vivid drama of grassroots education, thereby reflecting the pace of innovation and progress of rural grassroots education in the past 30 years, and writing the rich and ordinary life path and spiritual history of the educators who stick to the grassroots level.
