About This Novel
Lim Cheol-woo was born in Wando, Jeonnam, South Korea in 1954. Graduated from the English Department of Chonnam University, received a master's degree from the English Department of Sogang University and a doctorate from Chonnam University. In 1981, his novel "Liar Dog" was selected into the "New Year Literature and Art" of "Seoul News" and entered the literary world. His major works include "Their Morning", "The Wind in the Backyard", "Shaping Station", "Father's Land", "Bitter Head Games", "Come Together" and the novel "Spring". Most of his works explore people's absolute consciousness of existence by writing about the distorted truth of reality. Won the "Lixiang Literary Award". He is currently a professor in the Department of Literary Creation at Hanshen University.
