"Childhood" is one of Gorky's autobiographical trilogy. It describes the growth experience of a Russian teenager from a first-person perspective. The creation of this work is based on the author's real experience. In this work, Gorky observes various bizarre events in old Russian family life through the eyes of his childhood - some of which are already commonplace in the eyes of adults, but colorful in the eyes of children - and the various people who make up these events, including relatives, domestic servants and neighbors, all of them are meticulous and lifelike.
