About This Novel
Siddhartha, a handsome young man born as a Brahmin, abandoned everything and embarked on the road to find himself. During this journey of seeking truth, he talked with Buddha Gautama and saw the nature of the world clearly; he dated the famous prostitute Kamala and enjoyed the fun of love; he helped wealthy businessmen run their businesses and gained fame and fortune. After experiencing all kinds of worldly life, Siddhartha ran away again and became a boatman. By listening to the sound of the river, he saw the true face of the world and realized that everything in the world flows to its destination in the eternal river of life. Finally, he finally understood himself and integrated himself into the harmony and unity of life.
