About This Novel
When she was six years old, she was hiding in a dark and damp corner shivering. It was he who found her, squatted down, took her hand and said softly: "Grab my hand, you won't be afraid anymore." In the days to come, he kept his promise. Later, she saw him holding someone else's hand and walking into the marriage hall. She asked him why he made a mistake. Didn't he promise never to let go? Why did he let go first? He was silent for a long time, and then forced out a smile: "When you grow up and meet someone you like, the second brother will make the decision for you." But when someone really made a match for her and said he wanted to marry her, he blocked her: "Anyone can, but not that person." But she was stubborn, "I won't marry anyone who is not a king!"
