Thoughts after reading American Gods that I haven't finished yet.

I felt pretty good. After reading the trial chapter, I immediately bought the full version and planned to finish the book.

It's really not that good

To be honest, it's not that good. The story concept is very good and the background is huge. However, the plot is really lackluster and the ending is not surprising. I can only say that it is a very creative and good novel, but I personally feel that it is not worthy of those recommendations.
