About This Novel
Dachuan and Beiyuan are only 40 kilometers apart. They are both famous historical and cultural cities in northern Fujian, with rich natural resources and outstanding people. However, Beiyuan is a county-level city, Dachuan is a central city, and Beiyuan was the seat of the regional administration a few years ago. With the improvement of transportation and economic conditions, the administrative center will be moved to Beiyuan again. The protagonist of the novel, Wen Baya, worked in Dachuan and Beiyuan during the period when their economies were developing rapidly. The novel revolves around the economic development of the two places, and involves a series of ups and downs and exciting stories: the game in the shopping mall, the struggle in the workplace, the entanglement in love, the dealings in the officialdom... But Wen Baya performed the same wonderful life on these two different stages.
