The story of "Leopard Change" describes an individual person, and it can be roughly seen in the life stages of childhood, adolescence, youth, and middle age. Personal experience corresponds to the stages before the war, World War II, after World War II, after the founding of the People's Republic of China, and the opening of the country. It needs to be thought about in these historical backgrounds. Of course, there is another important stage: the Western world after going abroad. In addition, "Leopard Change" includes a long preface by editor Tong Ming. From the perspective of world literature, how to view the global nature of Mu Xin's literature also shows that Tong Ming and Mu Xin started brewing in the summer of 1993, and first published the 13 American English versions of AnEmptyRoom ("Empty Room"). The title of the book comes from the "Book of Changes": "The great man changes from tiger to tiger, the villain changes from face to face, and the gentleman changes from leopard to leopard." Leopard change is a process from weak to strong, which implies the spiritual growth history of an artist.
