About This Novel

"Twenty Years Later (Set Volume 1 and 2)" is after the end of the story told in "The Three Musketeers". Twenty years have passed. Although the first two of Dartagnan, Porthos, Athos and Aramis were working for Prime Minister Mazarin during the Fronde movement in Paris, and the latter two were on the side of the Fronde, and the two sides were unable to cooperate, they were still as loyal to friendship and closely united as before. They jointly rescued King Charles I at the critical moment, and then defeated Mazarin's conspiracy. The plots are interlocking, with ups and downs, tension and twists. At the same time, through a series of dangerous encounters, the characters of the old musketeers have become increasingly distinctive in the writer's writing.
