This book is a political allegory novel as well as a fantasy novel. In the book, the author shows us his amazing imagination, great creativity, and profound insight, and uses his unique style and superb skills to depict a terrifying world for us. The story tells the social scene in 1984 after the world was divided by three big countries. The protagonist is in "Oceania", one of the three countries. At this time, the world is raging at war and the country is highly centralized. It maintains operations by unifying history and language, breaking up families, monitoring people's behavior, and controlling people's thoughts. Every scene in the book is shocking.

Subverting people's worldview and values, the whole person has almost changed. I have a different sense of the world. I find that we don't dare to think or speak as much as they do, let alone do what they do. If it happened in China, I think I have to imagine where I would be, what kind of life I would live, would I be freer than animals?
Extreme manifestation of thought control
It is an extreme manifestation of thought control, but as far as the story of the novel is concerned, it is relatively dull and monotonous, making it difficult to read.
I watched the pure English version for nearly two hundred hours.
I read it several times, and if I authorize it more times, I will go to the next one.
This version doesn't work
The pure English version is missing, and this one has several entire paragraphs missing.
It's really great. And then, this is really a book that's too good to pass up. Even if you understand it once, it's best to read it several times.
