About This Novel
The finale of "Fall of Giants"! Readers around the world spend an average of three nights reading this super novel. The third part of the "Century Trilogy", the 20th century human epic that has become popular all over the world. I have witnessed with my own eyes that every life approaching death is growing enthusiastically. The "Trilogy of the Century" finally has a perfect ending. The truly cruel and fierce world war is a war of ideas. The five major families from the United States, Germany, the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom and Wales once again faced a new test. The division of East and West Germany, the Berlin Wall, the Soviet secret police, the assassination of JFK, the civil rights movement, the Cuban Missile Crisis, the invasion of Lebanon, the impeachment of Nixon... In addition, the third generation life also includes rock and roll, hippies, interracial love, sexual liberation, and misunderstandings and reconciliation with the past. In the final analysis, there is only one kind of heroism in the world, which is to still love life after recognizing the truth of life.

The third part is the final chapter after all. Without the thrill of war, the shadow of the Cold War hangs over the entire final chapter. In the last part, many things came to an end. Centuries and generations of love-hate entanglements have gradually come to an end. After reading the first two books, I have three regrets. It wasn't until I read the last one that I fully understood my regrets. It made me realize that a history of blood and tears for freedom and equality spanning several countries, generations, and centuries ended perfectly in my weeks of crazy brainstorming. Earl Fitz finally recognized his illegitimate son Lloyd, Gregory finally forgave each other with his brother Lev before his death, the Berlin Wall that divided Germany for nearly thirty years was finally opened, and the Werner family could finally be reunited!
I highly recommend everyone to read this book!
Be a hero at all times
When fighting to survive, you will use any weapon you can to protect yourself. This is an instinct that humans cannot violate.
The "trilogy" is finally over. Thanks to Uncle Ken for bringing such wonderful works to me and the world. I would like to express my gratitude to Uncle Ken. It not only allowed me to experience the joy of reading, but also made me understand some historical events. Apart from feeling like a big stone had dropped in my heart, I felt completely relaxed and without a trace of regret. I hope Uncle Ken's other works can also bring me different experiences.
There is too little written about China!
Asia, Africa and Latin America are rarely mentioned throughout the book. I think the title should be changed to The Fall of the European and American Giants, Winter in the Western World, The Edge of Eternity at the Two Pole, which is more appropriate to the meaning of the book. Ken Follett is either a white pioneer or a Western supremacist, or he dare not go too far because he does not understand the history of non-Western countries (I prefer the latter). But in any case, the name is too big. After all, history is the history of all mankind, and the world is also the world of all mankind. Just a little rant, the book is worth reading.
The End of a Great Work, but obviously mixed with ideological struggles and prejudices, is a work that looks at the Cold War from the perspective of a Western writer. The author still shows strong scheduling ability, every character is well described, and every story line smoothly transitions to the ending. From this point of view, it is definitely a work that can be regarded as a god. But it is obvious that by the time I wrote the third part, the plot had gradually become dull, and there was a kind of bias of Western writers in it, resulting in a layout that was not as good as the first two parts. Of course, in the context of the Cold War, this situation is understandable. Overall, I feel that as a completed work, it still has its flaws. Readers should improve their knowledge and make their own judgments on everything in the book.
What about China?
Throughout the book, why is there no mention of the People's Republic of China, which has had an indispensable impact on the course of modern world history? Disappointment!
I've read the first two, and this book is a must-read!
