George's influence may be too great for Laura. Even if George is gone, she will often dream about him. It is not a good thing for one person to have too much influence.

Everyone has shortcomings. As Leonard's wife, Milde should be respected by Leonard and listened to when his shortcomings are pointed out. Even shortcomings should be corrected.
