It tells the story of the protagonist Nomu who gained the ability to live forever due to chance eight thousand years ago. He lived a life of a wanderer in the world and traveled to the Mesopotamian plains to witness the prosperity of the two river basins. In Babel, one of the earliest cities, he battled wits and courage with the monarch Nimrod. As a witch doctor, he treated all kinds of people from monarchs to slaves. He also witnessed the construction and collapse of the Tower of Babel.
