About This Novel

What kind of city is Paris? Berets, cafes, romance, the shining lights on the Eiffel Tower, the boulevards, the clusters of flowers in the flower boxes outside the window, "Les Misérables", Picasso, Chanel... Paris means many things - wonderful things. The 18 female writers who co-authored this book are all inextricably linked to Paris. Their stories in this city are different, showing us a real and vivid picture of Parisian life. Meg Waite Clayton and M. J. Ross share the romantic secrets that have drawn couples to Paris for centuries; Susan Freeland and J. Courtney Sullivan break down stereotypes about Parisian power and show us just how warm and friendly Parisians really are. Good; Paula Maclean, Therese Anne Fowler and Eleanor Brown, to mystery writer Cara Black, historical writer Lauren Willich, biographer Julie Powell, their Paris-related memoirs have humor that makes you laugh, melancholy romance, and thought-provoking melancholy.

Why is the story of Paris what authors most want to create? The author discussed this and specially invited some best-selling writers. Everyone has different life circumstances, but they all like to create stories about Paris. It is because Parisians also have endless stories to tell - all Parisians, they have turned Paris into a place that makes us dream and yearn for it.

Paris is a beautiful city. It has its own story, its own elegance and its own sloppiness... But why are authors so keen on creating stories about Paris? The author of this book started a discussion on this, and I am also very curious!
