About This Novel

Sun Sui (1460-1519), courtesy name Decheng and alias Yichuan, was born in Sunjiajing, Yuyao, Zhejiang (now Sunjiajing Village, Henghe Town, Cixi City). He was a famous loyal minister in the Ming Dynasty. Sun Sui was an elegant writer. He wrote ten volumes of "The Dregs of the Four Saints", six volumes of "Revelation of Poems and Prose", four volumes of "Memories", ten volumes of "Drafts", two volumes of "Records of Punishments", and one volume of "Governor's List". The only thing that can be seen now is a fragment of the Ming Dynasty's "Xi Xing Lu", which is hidden in the Tianyige Museum in Ningbo and is the only one left in the country. This book is the first collation of Sun Sui's poems and essays. It compiles Sun Sui's poems, essays and related biographical materials. Sun Sui was not a person who was famous for his poetry at that time. His articles were often economical and practical. The collection and arrangement of "Collection of Sun Sui" can provide convenience for future scholars to further study Sun Sui and related issues such as the rebellion of King Ning and the punishment of Ming Dynasty.
