This book is a long poem by Mickiewicz, which represents his creative achievements and is also Poland's national epic. The poem consists of 12 volumes and more than 10,000 lines. Translator Yi Lijun, born in 1934, is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Beijing Foreign Studies University; Lin Hongliang, born in 1935, is a researcher at the Institute of Foreign Literature, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. This book was published by People's Literature Publishing House in 1998 and included in the "World Literature Masterpiece Library".
