About This Novel
The Book of Songs is the earliest extant poetry collection in my country, and contains 305 poems written between the early Western Zhou Dynasty and the mid-Spring and Autumn Period. It is the glorious beginning of Chinese literature and the first peak of classical poetry creation. For thousands of years, the Book of Songs has been regarded as an important classic by Confucianism and has had a profound impact on the culture and education of later generations. This book is annotated by Professor Chu Binjie of the Department of Chinese at Peking University, and selected by Professor Fang Ming of Beijing Language and Culture University. This book selects 152 works from the "Book of Songs", with detailed chanting and detailed explanations of the writing background and theme of each poem, and annotations on important words and key chapters. It is a classic selection of the "Book of Songs".
