About This Novel
"Three Cordyceps" is the first part of the "Three Treasures from Mountains" series by the famous writer Alai. Alai said in his creative talk, "I haven't written a novella for ten years. When I visited Japan ten years ago, I soaked in the hot springs there. I suddenly remembered the hot springs on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and wrote a piece called "Distant Hot Springs." I never wrote it again. This year, I suddenly decided to write a few novels based on the products produced on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau that are strongly demanded by today's consumer society. The first one is "Three Cordyceps". The second one is "Mushroom Circle". The third one is "Shadows of Cypresses on the River".
