This book tells a story about "family struggle". Rongbaozhai, which was on the verge of bankruptcy, has been able to continue to this day thanks to the efforts of several generations. In this book, the author starts with his old boss Zhang Yangshan and slowly tells the story of the three generations of Rongbaozhai over the past century. Among them are the battles between peers, the impact of war, legendary experiences, and the operation and management of stores. Zhang Yangshan is the shopkeeper of Songzhuzhai in Liulichang. Although he is a businessman, he is well educated and accomplished in seal cutting techniques. He is Zhao Zhiqian's best friend. Zhang Yangshan spent far more time on seal cutting than on running the shop. He had little interest in doing business and did not want to make a fortune. His greatest wish in life was to become an accomplished calligrapher and seal carver. Having your own ideas and pursuits is a charm.
