The Great Gatsby
by (u. S.) Francis Scott Fitzgerald
About This Novel
By chance, Nick, a poor employee, breaks into the secret world of Gatsby, a lavish spender. Nick is surprised to find that the only fetter in Gatsby's heart is the little green light on the other side of the river - in the flickering light, lives his beloved old lover Daisy. Gatsby once lost Daisy due to poverty. In order to find love, he used all means to become a rich man and built a mansion, just to let his former lover come and sit for a while. However, the cold reality cannot tolerate misty dreams, and the real tragedy quietly begins at this moment... "The Great Gatsby" is the "perfect book" in the history of world literature, and Murakami Haruki, Hemingway, and Salinger are crazy about it.

The Great Gatsby, infatuated people are fools! Obsessed with love. No matter what it takes for love. She once lost a memory and wandered in order to survive. She had no choice but to forget it! The God of Destiny indeed arranged for her to remember that past event many years later. Who can understand the heartbreaking pain!
The translator made a lot of mistakes... I don't know how you guys understood it... The translated version is the one that raises the most question marks among black people.
The translation is terrible, especially the very sad part at the end, which is simply incomprehensible.
gatsby
The whole work is filled with the flavor of this ethereal dream, just like Gatsby, he is addicted to the dream he built, and the center of this dream is Daisy. If you think about it carefully, Gatsby is really amazing. In that materialistic world, he pursued beauty and simplicity, so he was at odds with his surroundings and the world he actually lived in. In addition, ignoring the issues of improper translation mentioned in many reviews, the ending of the novel is really poignant.
Opening the book is helpful.
Because where did the movie come from! ! ! !
Fitzgerald revolutionized American jazz, and The Great Gatsby is his best novel
This version is not well translated
I remember there was a translation that was better than this one
I heard that boys all love Gatsby. Why? Maybe it's because his dream is so unattainable yet touching.
love fool
The definition of a fool is to like someone so much that you have no self.
