About This Novel

Waking up on a Saturday morning and thinking about your bike hanging on the rack in the garage, feeling like you have the whole weekend to yourself, like a carnival of dreams, free to ride to distant places. When I read this paragraph, it vividly described the "sense of innocence", and it also reminded me of those relaxing "carnivals" in my childhood, as if the weekend was very long.
