A well-deserved cult masterpiece!
Chuck Palahniuk is really talented! The novel reads very magical but feels so real at the same time, as if many things in real life may be like this. Even the description of each person's story is so fascinating that you can't help but follow it. However, the human nature of each character is so profoundly portrayed, and you will see the true dark side of human nature in this novel. Sometimes I even imagine that if I were one of the characters in the novel, I would inevitably become one of the cruel, cold and dark devils in the training club. This is human nature.
One thought of hell
A few crazy people did ridiculous things. Especially the "intestines, which are a bit heavy-flavored, very real, very detailed, and curious."
deep and painful
A very special cult novel, every little story can surprise people
Can QQ Reading make the layout more normal?
The layout is too messy and there are many translation problems. After reading Chapter 4 for the first time, I roughly understood what the whole story was about, so I went back and read it again. The book itself is quite cult, but I thought that everyone's stories would be connected together in the end, but it didn't.
can't read
Read three chapters. It feels like completely confusing and nonsensical text. I can't understand it at all. Every sentence feels incomprehensible.
It makes me feel uncomfortable. It's hard to imagine that humans can write such painful words. It's hard to imagine that the author imagined the situation without experiencing it.
It's the cult version of "The Decameron"
