About This Novel

"The Cthulhu Mythos" is known as the greatest and most influential system of horror novels in the 20th century. The author is H. P. Lovecraft - or "Lovecraft". Suppose there is an ant crawling next to your feet. You will not care whether you step on it or not, because it is too small. Whether it is dead or alive has no effect on you. In the eyes of the ancient evil gods described in the "Cthulhu Mythos", humans are like ants. The "cosmism" advocated by Lovecraft means that human beings are far from being the masters of the world. In the unknown universe that has not yet been explored, there are unimaginable and unspeakable horrific truths hidden. Just a glimpse of them can make people fall into madness or death. As the author himself said: "The oldest and strongest human emotion is fear; and the oldest and strongest fear is the fear of the unknown." This book is the third in the "Cthulhu Mythos" series, and includes 8 short and medium-sized stories such as "Pickman's Model", "Latent Fear" and "The Mound". Open an article at random and arouse the fear of darkness deep in your heart. "Staying in the leeward shadow of the Mountains of Madness, you must control your imagination." The stars have reached a certain position, and the Great Old Ones are about to reappear.

Those who understand it appreciate its ingenious conception and logical reasoning ability. People who don't understand it will give it a superficial evaluation of a second-rate book. Needless to say, experience and understand the mythical story of Cthulhu for yourself! The book was published in the last century😂, but due to its advanced conception at that time, no one understood its value. The sales of his works were small, but he was not wealthy, so the author lived in poverty in his life and finally died of illness. As his believer, I hope people can recognize it and understand its unique style.

stranger

A stranger among the crowd, he has been living alone for a long time. Later, when he reverses the story, he feels that the male protagonist is a bit pitiful. He has always longed for that bright world and is destined not to belong to him.

As a reader of the txt version, I said that the quality of 2 is the best, and then Call of Cthulhu and Dunwich Horror are also good.
