About This Novel

This book is composed of three books: "The Romance of Kaikai", "The Story of King Wu's Conquest of Zhou" and "The Biography of Qin Shihuang". Among them, "Kaifu Romance", the full name of which is "Kaifu Yanyi Popular Chronicles", covers the story from the creation of the world by Pangu, the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors, Xia and Shang Dynasties to King Wu of Zhou Dynasty who punished the people for their crimes. The book begins with the creation of heaven and earth, and ends with King Wu's defeat of Zhou. It records many well-known ancient myths and stories, such as "Pangu opened the sky and so on."
