About This Novel
This book is based on the historical events of the Sui and Tang Dynasties, and uses the romantic story of the reincarnation lovers of Sui Yang, Zhu Gui'er and Tang Minghuang and Yang Yuhuan as the framework to describe the history of more than 170 years from the time when Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty launched an army to attack Chen to the death of Emperor Minghuang of the Tang Dynasty. It tells the heroic legends of Qin Qiong, Xu Maogong, Cheng Yaojin, Li Jing, Yuchi Gong, Luo Cheng and others who fought against the Sui Dynasty and revived the Tang Dynasty. It describes the scandals about Emperor Jingchang's palace and the love affair between Tang Xuanzong's imperial concubines, as well as Tang Taizong Li Shimin's acceptance of the anti-Sui heroes, the Xuanwumen's murder of his brother to seize power, and the creation of the martial arts and culture of the prosperous Tang Dynasty.
