About This Novel
The author graduated from Peking University, studied in the United States, and after several years of struggle, became a Wall Street trader. I thought I was facing a golden avenue, but unexpectedly, a sudden financial tsunami in 2008 pushed the world economy to the edge of the cliff and focused all attention on the eye of the storm - Wall Street. "Wall Street in Chaos" uses novels as its subject matter and the author's personal experience as its basic content to present to readers this financial crisis that has never happened in a century in human history. Wall Street is a battlefield without gunpowder. The author uses municipal bonds as an entry point to take readers through the Gilded Age, the Summer Storm, the fall of Bear Stearns, the Lehman Earthquake, and the bloody moments of darkness. The whole story is so compact that you can't even breathe, as if It's as if I'm watching a suspense drama. The storyteller peels off the cocoon and tells the story in detail, leading the readers into an unknown series of schemes. The claws of the subprime mortgage crisis spread little by little on Wall Street, burning down three of the five major investment banks. The author also describes the new order, new market, and new thinking of Wall Street in the post-tsunami era, allowing readers to have a deeper understanding of today's Wall Street. The purpose is not to simply look back, but to warn of the current situation. Under the Fed's quantitative easing monetary policy, a new round of hidden dangers has been foreshadowed.
