"Nana" The girl Nana was spotted by the entertainment theater manager, and her starring role in "Venus Blonde" was a success. Men from the upper class of Paris fell in love with her. In "The Little Hotel", the laundress Qiervise gave birth to two sons to the shoemaker Lantier when she was a minor. He was later abandoned and married to Coupeau, a house builder. After Coupeau suffered a work injury, he went in and out of the small hotel all day long. Soon, Kirvis began to drink too much and fell into depression. In the end, Coupeau died of a stroke in the lunatic asylum after drinking, and Kirvis also died in the black hole at the bottom of the stairs. "Thérèse Lacan" is a novel by Zola. It describes a woman, Thérèse, who meets and has a passionate collision with a young man, Laurent, after marrying her aunt's son, Camille. In order to escape the horrific hallucinations after the murder, the man and woman finally chose to commit suicide by taking poison. "Battle at the Mill" is a collection of Zola's short stories and short stories.
