About This Novel
"The Three Musketeers" is one of the masterpieces of French writer Alexandre Dumas. The novel mainly describes the story of the French Cardinal Richelieu, who became prime minister in 1624 and captured the city of La Rochelle, the main base of the Huguenots in 1628.
