The story is normal and paced. However, the detailed cold weapon culture of that period and the corresponding humanistic and geographical descriptions in the article are very visual, and it is a good book worth recommending.
Social change is really unstoppable by human power. All we can do is to make it develop in a good direction as much as possible.
