How should I put it? In the first story, the heroine was disgusted with the current life and was ready to escape from the current life and look forward to the future. It was very good. I supported this very much. However, when I got on the bus to Toronto, I regretted it. . . . . . I know that there may be such a person. If you lose that person, your heart will feel empty and you are not ready to replace it with anything. But, aren't dreams important? It's really shameful to give up all these things for one man.
The thought of escaping lurks in a corner of your heart like a ghost. When you go astray and step into the darkness, it will bring you pain and erode your life wantonly. Escape is a good or bad decision, and grief will be unforgettable for you.
This book was the first paper book I ever read.
It is very relevant to life, highly recommended, and those who are not well-read can read it.
I want to read the original work. 😂
The work of a master.
The eight short stories are coherent and dense. They all talk about the ordinary lives of women in small towns, from one dilemma to another. What is commendable is Munroe's writing, long descriptions of scenes, beautiful and smooth, not wailing, not despairing, insightful perception, and accurate analysis.
The first story is well written, but why does it look weird later on?
The inner description of the characters is detailed.
