About This Novel
The novel takes the first-person "I" and Nanchuan and others' love, life encounters and pursuit of self-dreams as the main line, and uses the life and love experiences of friends Fan Zheng, Lin Lan, Yin Xuehan and others as the sub-line. It is interspersed with "I"'s review of the unfortunate childhood and the complex emotions of the mother who married into her stepfather's family. It writes that these young people gradually have their own lives and endings after their respective pains and joys. And "I" finally met my lover Yuan Shuyu, and returned home to be reunited with my mother whom I had not seen for many years. Through the experiences of these young people in love, life and work, the novel shows their wanton youth and difficult and painful growth.
