About This Novel
After the great writer Driffield passed away, his wife Amy asked someone to write a biography of him. Ashenden was asked by the biographer to recall his association with the writer. Ashenden recounted his early relationship with Driffield and his ex-wife Rosie. Rosie, a writer from a humble background and his fashionable and beautiful ex-wife Rosie, who once worked as a hotel host, fled the town due to foreign debts. A few years later in London, Ashenden met them by chance. By this time Driffield had become a somewhat famous writer, and Rossi had become even more charismatic. The striking Rosie watched plays and laughed with her admirers, including Ashenden. One day, Ashenden was suddenly told that Rosie had run away with her first love. Rossi was never heard from again. Driffield wrote many works in the following decades and became a well-known author. The elderly Driefield married nurse Amy, but he was still full of feelings for Rosie, and finally passed away in memory of Rosie.
