About This Novel
Alice has an enviable life: she is a famous linguistics professor at Harvard University, has a happy family, and has three children with her husband. All is well, but some small but surprising changes are creeping in. She found that she began to have some symptoms: she couldn't find her keys, got lost near her home, and forgot to catch a flight... She had to go to a doctor for help. Finally, she received a desperate diagnosis: she had early-onset Alzheimer's disease. The condition deteriorated rapidly, and the former linguistics professor began to lose the ability to read and express; the once perfect wife and mother began to forget the people she loved. Everything was falling apart, and in the quagmire of Alzheimer's disease, she struggled to find the forgotten self.
