Miracle Ward
About This Novel
10:32, Selma will always remember this moment. On Saturday morning, Thelma took her 12-and-a-half-year-old son Louis to see her grandmother. On the way, she received a call from her boss. While talking on the phone, Thelma saw her son on a skateboard being hit by a truck. Louis fell into a deep coma and lay in a hospital ward on life support. The sad and desperate Thelma found a notebook when she went home to tidy up Louis' room. Louis wrote on it: My most beloved and precious miracle notebook, I am going to tell you all the experiences I want to try before I die, they are my miracles, it's kind of like a dream list, but not quite, because I only write down the things that are possible. Thelma never knew her son had written such words. The rational Thelma suddenly had a crazy idea: she was going to experience every experience her son had dreamed about in his notebook, and she was going to film every attempt and bring it to Louis' ward.
